Optimum Seismic has been making California cities safer since 1984 by providing full-service earthquake engineering, steel fabrication and construction services for multifamily residential, commercial and industrial buildings. With more than 3,500 earthquake retrofit and renovation projects completed, Optimum Seismic's work includes soft-story multifamily apartments, unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings and tilt-up, non-ductile concrete and steel moment frame buildings.

More than 100,000 soft-story apartments in California, represent a substantial earthquake collapse risk. Sixteen people were killed in the collapse of one such soft-story building, the Northridge Meadows Apartments, during the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. Wood-frame buildings typically built before the mid-1980's and containing parking or retail space beneath one or more stories of residential units.

We understand the importance of taking every quality control step to safeguard your commercial and multifamily building from the damage an earthquake can cause. Our services are designed to increase the resiliency of commercial buildings and community structures to help prevent damage or collapse when the next earthquake happens.



Refund Policy

Event Registration / Reservation Cancellations
Will be granted under the following conditions:
Full Refund: Registrations/reservations may be cancelled no later than 72 hours prior to the day of the event, less any merchant charges assessed on the funds received.
No Refund: Registrations/reservations cancelled within 72 hours prior to the day of the event.

Substitutions
Will be granted under the following conditions:
Substitutions are acceptable if the substitute is in the same registration/reservation pricing group as the original attendee. 72 hours advance notice of any substitutions would be appreciated.

Refunds for No-Shows
Unfortunately, we are not able to refund event fees, registrations, and/or reservations of any kind for no-shows. Thank you for your understanding.
