The legislative session for 2020 has come to a close, and many new laws were passed which will directly impact California residential landlords. Are you ready? Do you know what new laws will impact your rental operations in 2021? Attorney Tracey Merrell has the information you need to make sure you are in compliance. She will also cover trending topics that are creating big challenges for owners and managers. Note that due to the pandemic, laws are changing rapidly and there may be additional changes to the laws in early 2021.

Tracey Merrell is the Managing Partner of Education and offices in our Los Angeles location. She began her legal career representing banks in post foreclosure evictions throughout California. Ms. Merrell later transitioned into representing management companies and individual owners in eviction trials. Her experience is in all aspects of landlord/tenant litigation and she has in-depth knowledge of the Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance. She joined Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP as a Trial Attorney and made hundreds of trial appearances each year before her transition to managing the Education Department where her goal is to provide training and knowledge to owners and managers.

Will be granted under the following conditions:
Full Refund: Registrations/reservations may be cancelled no later than 72 hours prior to the day of the event, less any merchant charges assessed on the funds received.
No Refund: Registrations/reservations cancelled within 72 hours prior to the day of the event.
Substitutions
Will be granted under the following conditions:
Substitutions are acceptable if the substitute is in the same registration/reservation pricing group as the original attendee. 72 hours advance notice of any substitutions would be appreciated.
Refunds for No-Shows
