Program Purpose
The goal of the CPM Mentorship Circle is to provide cross-functional networking opportunities as well as support during the CPM candidacy process. This will bolster communication and confidence and share how to successfully navigate your CPM certification as well as increase your exposure to the real estate industry from a professional and personal perspective.
Program Details
- CPM Mentorship Circles are made up of small groups of 2-3 CPM Candidates who will meet virtually every other month for 30 minutes during the 3-month period leading up to your Capstone Final Exam.
- One active CPM will lead these circles.
CPM Mentorship Circle Leader Qualifications:
- Active CPM designation
- All dues current
- Attended (1) or more IREM events in the last 12 months
CPM Mentorship Circle Mentee Qualifications:
- Active CPM Candidate designation
- All dues current
- Current member of at least one (1) committee/subcommittee for IREM-LA
- Completion of (4) or more CPM Track courses
CPM Mentorship Circle Leader Investment: (Avg 1-1.5 hours a month)
- Attend one 30-minute virtual orientation and receive your circle member roster, meeting facilitating guidelines, conversation prompts and communication templates.
- Facilitate six 30-minute virtual "circle" meetings with the same circle members every other month during the 3-month season.
- Meetings are unstructured and require limited preparation to create room for conversations on shared topics of interest.
- Attending one 30-minute virtual check-in mid-way through the period to see how things are going, share key learnings and emerging best practices with the group of mentors.
- Attend (1) IREM in-person events with your mentees (IREM-LA chapter will cover the cost of the event for both the leader and the mentee. Not applicable for the Gala or Dodgers Night)
- Attend monthly 30-minute virtual CPM Circles Mentorship Programe meeting
- Continuous support as needed to your mentee as they reach the finish line
CPM Mentorship Circle Mentee Investment: (Avg 1-1.5 hours a month)
- Attend one 30-minute virtual orientation for introductions to Circle.
- Attend six 30-minute virtual "circle" meetings with the same circle members every other month during the 3-month season.
- Meetings are unstructured and require limited preparation to create room for conversations on shared topics of interest.
- Attend (1) IREM in-person events with your mentor (IREM-LA chapter will cover the cost of the event for both the leader and the mentee. Not applicable for the Gala or Dodgers Night)
Personal and Professional ROI for CPM Mentorship Circle Leader
