Suttles Plumbing Inc.(SPI) incorporated 2009 as a sister company to Suttles Plumbing & Mechanical Corp.(SPAM)

Suttles Plumbing & Mechanical Corp. opened in 1970 by Stephen Suttles and among getting into a niche with school districts, a lot of commercial new builds were in the mix. As Stephan's daughter, Stephanie Aguilar, started to manage the business around 2000 and business grew, SPAM started doing more contract work. A decision was made to open SPI to continue the service and maintenance of the buildings built in the late 20th century. Since opening, they have been able to focus on these clients, providing personalized and skilled work, while gaining a larger clientele. Aside from a 24/7 emergency service operation, it provides preventative maintenance and tenant improvement.

SPI is a union company with a small business, public works certification, and currently 98% owned by women. Sisters in law Stephanie Aguilar and Sheralyn Suttles direct the operation and management of SPI while still being very active in SPAM.
